Level 3 - 6 years old and older who have passed Level 2
Swimmers learn how to be comfortable swimming in the pool’s deep end.  They also learn how to:
  • Jump into deep water from the side, come back to the surface, and tread water or float for one minute, rotate at least one complete turn, swim front crawl or elementary backstroke to the shallow end of the pool, and then exit the water
  • Swim front crawl and/or elementary backstroke for 25 yards.
  • Push off in a streamlined position, swim front crawl for 15 or more yards, change position and direction, swim elementary backstroke for 15 or more yards, then exit the water. 
After completing Level 3, swimmers should sign up for Level 4.
