Class Dates:
6 hours of computer work must be completed before the first class.

To enroll in the Lifeguarding course, you must be at least 15 years old before the last scheduled class. To participate in this lifeguarding course, you must be able to complete the prerequisite skills listed below before Monday, June 1, 2026.
Swim 150 yards continuously, demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing. Candidates may swim using the front crawl, breaststroke, or a combination of both. Tread water for two minutes using only the legs. Then swim 50 yards using front crawl or breaststroke.
Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object, and exit the water without using a ladder or steps within 1 minute and 40 seconds.
Upon completing this Lifeguarding Course, participants will receive two American Red Cross Universal Certificates, valid for two years.
