Try Volleyball for Free is a nationwide program sanctioned by USA Volleyball and its 40 Regions that introduce kids in 3rd through 8th grade to the game of volleyball, completely free of charge. Clinics are hosted by local volleyball clubs, schools, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, and sports organizations across the country, bringing the game directly into communities that might not otherwise have access to it.

In 2025, we had over 200 clinics hosted across the country. This year, we're aiming even bigger and we need you to help us get there.

Brand New for 2026: Try Volleyball Theme Days!

This year we are introducing something we've never done before!

Try Volleyball Theme Days, running July 11–19.

Nine days. Nine themes. Endless ways to celebrate the game.

Theme Days are designed to give your clinic something extra to rally around and connect your event to a national celebration happening at clubs, schools, YMCAs, and programs across the country — all at the same time. Each theme has its own hashtag and is completely open to your interpretation. Put your own spin on it and celebrate volleyball your way.

Clubs and schools are encouraged to participate in the theme that matches the day they host — but participation is totally flexible. If the scheduled theme doesn't fit your program, simply choose any theme that works for you and make it your own.
